Israel has always used torture against Palestinians, the article below is 24 years old… but colonial states in Europe and North America has always absolved torture , ethnic cleansing, genocide, repression, kidnapping, destruction, land confiscation, state teerorism, when they were perpetrated by their “friends”.

The Israeli state terrorism is continuing its genocidal plan in Gaza with full support from the US, Canada, and the EU (who do lip service for human rights).

You are a fool If you believe any word your government says. The fact is that the US government's actions are materialized in sending continuous military support and arms to Israel while claiming there are "disagreements" and "tensions" with the Israeli government and requiring respect for human rights (actions are clear, words do not count).

Actions are clear, too, on the Canadian government side. The moment the Israeli government claimed that some UNRWA employees participated in the Oct 7 attack, the Canadian government cut funding to UNRWA, i.e., they acted in full support of starving the Palestinians (in fact, such cut is not justified even if there were proofs not only allegations). Yet, the government of Canada makes statements, void of any tangible pressure, in support of respecting human rights. Well, even the Israeli government claims full respect for humanitarian laws while conducting its genocide; even today, it claims such respect while conducting its plan to continue its genocidal attack.

Hypocritical rhetorics coupled with genocidal actions are colonial tools; most people from the South have known that for a long time, while most people in the West have no clue about their government's real actions on the international stage. People in the "west" are not free; they are fed lie after lie by media and political leaders so that they remain caged in illusions and oblivious to reality. The famous novel "1984" does not only apply to the soviet union.

For those wondering why I am posting on a non-informatics subject, please remember the original reason behind the scientific activity (surprise, no it is not profit): serving and furthering human life and life in general. All activity is non-sense without that goal.

For legal reasons, the question of intentionality is important. Still, for people who have genuine respect for human life and life in general, for people who would like to live in a world of peace, not racism, destruction, and savagery, the question of intentionality is secondary in a non-legal context, a country (not a group) has put plans and orders in action (1) for its army to kill nearly 25,000 (nearly 250 a day) and wound 60,000, (2) to starve more than 2 million people, and to create conditions so that half of the living population might die from diseases and epidemics, is something to be rejected categorically without second thoughts.


And for those who still wonder how to end this "situation" peacefully and protect every life in historical Palestine, there is a simple solution: israel to end its occupation and apply UN resolutions that ordered the end of occupation decades ago. It is not only a blatant travesty to speak of "complex" and "conflict"; it is a way of thinking that leads nowhere but more killing and destruction.


You might be one of those who rationalize an imaginary "complexity" so that they take no side, but the solution that respects human life is so obvious and simple: end the occupation.


The simple fact is that wanting peace means wanting the end of the occupation; if you are not interested in ending the occupation, you are not interested in peace.
