Colonialism isn't a chapter in a history book; it is a current reality.
For those who view colonialism as a closed epoch, I invite you to look closer at the present. To understand how colonial structures operate today, one only needs to observe the actions of the United States (and its allies) in hashtag#Palestine, its broader region, and across hashtag#South hashtag#America. Understanding the "now" requires us to recognize that the same patterns of dispossession and resource control are still at work. We often talk about "post-colonial" worlds, but the lived reality in Palestine, and the systemic aggression in South America, suggest otherwise. The actions of the United States (and allies) today mirror the colonial strategies of the 19th and 20th centuries. If you haven't engaged with these topics recently, I encourage you to look at these regions not as "conflicts," but through the lens of active colonialism. Awareness is the first step toward true liberation and justice. hashtag#HumanRights, hashtag#GlobalJustice, hashtag#Decolonization, hashtag#Geopolitics, hashtag#SocialJustice Comments are closed.
