So far, at least 583 Palestinian children in Gaza have been killed by Israeli military attacks on Palestinians in Gaza; but yesterday, I received an angry message in my inbox arguing literally that “Israeli forces don’t kill children” (I will spare you the sheer demagogy of other parts of the message).

Will the Canadian Brainwashing Company relay news calmly (about atrocities vs. crisis) with visible compassion for Palestinians? And will some hospitals be hast in distributing pins showing the Palestinian flag to their staff?
If this will not be the case (it would be horrifying if it be), then the horrifying attitude that we are witnessing today in Canada (and other countries with a long history of colonialism) reflects a state of mind that values the lives of some human beings above the lives of others; what we are witnessing is simply a reflection of anti-Palestinian/anti-Arab (with a likely pitch of anti-Muslim) racism. So, there are abhorrent attacks vs. some 'concerns'... It is not abhorrent that the government of israel announced that it will cut off food, water and fuel to the Palestinians in Gaza, all 2.3 million of them and that the announcement described the "fight" (i.e., the attack of a whole army on besieged population) as one conducted against "human animals"...... Such declarations that constitute a war crime under International humanitarian law do not seem abhorrent for the well-educated experts (and the CBC) who respect human rights. When such a collective punishment measure is declared by an israeli government, it only raise 'concerns'; and CBC repeats this 'concern' with utmost docility since it is important to keep the racist propaganda against anything Palestinians going since it is important to keep the Palestinians subjugated and oppressed (some people must be benefitting a lot from this systemic oppression). Also, CBC has a photo presenting "The National" with a caption that reads "Atrocities in Israel, Gaza Crisis'... Atrocities are perpetrated, so they have an actor.
