Academic Supporters of the Worst Regimes

We should not be surprised that European populations in the twentieth century supported the worst regimes. A living example is Israel. Here is a sample of calls for genocide from academia:

- About Palestinian population in Gaza "Anyone who stays there will be judged by law as a terrorist and will go through either a process of starvation or a process of extermination" (Uzy Raby, a history professor, Tel Aviv University)

- About the Lebanese population: "You have to inflict it [the war] on the [Lebanese] population"  (Uzy Raby, a history professor, Tel Aviv University)

- "Rafah must be conquered" (Harel Chorev, lecturer at Tel Aviv University); he also supported a plan that "called for forcibly displacing all civilians from the northern part of the enclave, or subjecting them to starvation and military force."

"occupy Gaza now." (Eyal Zisser, vice rector and member of the Middle East department, Tel-Aviv University)

Called Israel to drop a nuclear bomb on Iran (Benny Morris, history Professor, Ben-Gurion University)

The Palestinians are "a society that worships death and raises the banner of murder" (Professor Avi Bareli, a lecturer on Israel and the history of Zionism at Ben-Gurion University)

Imagine the uproar if Arab intellectuals said any of these murderous genocidal statements about Israel's society!
